Mom and I started out our first day of waiting by heading to the airport to go to St Petersburg. We were sad to split from Kathy, Lynnette, and Amanda but did make some wonderful friends this trip. We will see Kathy next week when it is time to pick all our babies up.
We basically slept and packed yesterday after court. I was exhausted when I got back to the room. I had barely slept the night before court and then found out after court that my dog had passed away over the weekend. She had been sick before I left and we were unsure how she would do during my absence. My sister and dad took wonderful care of her but her body was too tired to fight anymore. She was 15 1/2 years old. My family didn't want me to know until after court and I am very appreciative of that. She was her "mama's baby" and I don't know what my house will feel like without her in it. So, needless to say, it was a bittersweet day.
Well, not much to report in St Petersburg. We will go out some tomorrow but decided to just hang out in the room today as we have plenty of time to wander around over the next week. Talk with everyone tomorrow.

Lindsey I am so sorry to hear about your dog. We have 3 and they are apart of the family.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you...
Have fun in St. Petersburg, enjoy sightseeing!
We were so sorry to hear about Lucy. We will all miss her very much.
ReplyDeleteMaw Maw says she's very anxious for you to get home with the babies so she can meet them! They look precious in the picture! She says they look more alike then they did back in November.
We miss you and can't wait to meet them!
From the Gang at the Clinic!
Hi from Kathy & Amanda! You didn't mention any airline troubles, so does that mean you didn't miss your intended flight to St.P? I hope so! We arrived home last night and got a good night's sleep. I have a dr. appt today to make sure my sore throat isn't anything more. I hope you have a fab time in St.P! See you in 8 days! =) (Amanda says, "Hi, how are you doing? This is your friend Amanda, I was happy to play with you, Bye!")(she's in a squirrely mood, if you can imagine)
